About the Vision & Team

Our Vision

At Locadapt, we understand the huge SEO and revenue boost that website translation (i.e. "localization") can bring, especially for e-commerce, Internet SaaS, product review, and informational / listing sites. But we also know that the usual route — hiring translators — is often too complicated and definitely too pricey for smaller teams. And while sure, there are newer tools out there, many are still expensive, inaccurate, or just plain don't work. (Check out our competitor analysis for more on this.)

Our goal is straightforward yet ambitious: to create an AI-driven localization tool that's all four of accurate, reliable, user-friendly, and affordable. We're aiming for 98% translation accuracy with just 2% of the effort. This makes localization accessible to solopreneurs, startups, passionate individuals, and lower-income foreign entities.

With a hands-off, usage-based model and minimal locked features, we're making localization simpler and more affordable so smaller players can compete globally without the usual hefty costs and complexities.

Simon Ilincev

Hey there, it's the author here! I'm Simon Ilincev, the founder of Locadapt and a Computer Science major at Cornell. I'm passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems. I speak four languages and have previously built Lingotrack, ColdCraft, and Heavenly Path.

With a strong background in software development and a good grasp of market needs, I see Locadapt as a way to bridge the gap between quality translations and affordability. My hands-on approach and commitment to excellence are reflected in every aspect of our product.
